Account Linking
Linking Telegram and Web Accounts
Jungle Rebounder supports both Telegram bot and web dashboard interfaces. You can link your accounts to access your data from both interfaces seamlessly.
Why Link Accounts?
- Access your trading data from both Telegram and web dashboard
- Use Telegram for quick commands and notifications
- Use web dashboard for detailed analytics and configuration
- All your sequences, configs, and signals sync automatically
How to Link Accounts
From Web Dashboard (Recommended)
- Go to Settings → Telegram Account (or visit
/telegrampage) - Click "Connect Telegram" button
- A 6-character connection code will be generated (valid for 15 minutes)
- Open Telegram and find
@JungleRebounderBot - Send
/connect <code>(replace<code>with the code from dashboard) - Accounts are linked automatically
Note: If your Telegram account already exists separately, accounts will be merged automatically with all data preserved.
From Telegram Bot
- If you started with Telegram bot and later want web access:
- Register on the web dashboard with your email
- During registration, provide your Telegram user ID (found in the bot)
- Your email/password will be linked to your existing Telegram account
- All your Telegram data remains intact
What Gets Merged?
When accounts are merged, the following data is transferred:
- Sequences: All trading sequences
- Configs: Bot configurations (conflicts resolved automatically)
- Signals: All signal configurations
- Balances: Dry mode balances are combined
- Premium Status: Preserved if applicable
Disconnecting Your Telegram Account
You can disconnect your Telegram account from either interface:
From Web Dashboard
- Go to Settings → Telegram Account (or
/telegrampage) - Click "Disconnect" button
- Review the warning dialog that explains what will happen
- Confirm the disconnection
From Telegram Bot
- Send
/disconnectcommand in Telegram - Confirm the disconnection
⚠️ Important: What Happens When You Disconnect?
The behavior depends on whether your account was merged:
- If your account was merged: Your Telegram account will be restored and you can use the bot again, but you'll start with a fresh account (no sequences, configs, etc.). All your merged data remains in your web account.
- If your account was not merged: Your Telegram account is simply unlinked. You can reconnect later using a new connection code.
✅ No data is lost - All merged data stays in your web account
✅ Telegram bot still works - If account was merged, you can use bot again (fresh start)
✅ Easy reconnection - You can always reconnect later using a connection code
Troubleshooting
Connection code expired?
Connection codes are valid for 15 minutes. If your code expires, generate a new one from the web dashboard.
"This Telegram account is already linked to another user"?
Your Telegram account is already linked to a different web account. You need to unlink it from that account first, or use that account instead.
"Your account already has a different Telegram account linked"?
Your web account already has a Telegram account linked. Unlink the current Telegram account first, then link the new one.
